Dear Parents of Campbell-Tintah Students:
The first day of school is right around the corner and before you know it your child(ren) will be heading out the door to another exciting school year here at Campbell-Tintah Schools.
Application for Educational Benefits: Enclosed you will find the Free/Reduced Meal Application. If your child is direct certified, a direct certified notification letter will be enclosed instead of the Free/Reduced Meal Application. If there are children missing from the direct certified notification letter, please add them in the space provided and return to the school as soon as possible. The 2017-2018 school year brings a new change to the Free/Reduced Meal Program. Students who qualify for Reduced-priced meals will qualify to eat breakfast and lunch for free. Additionally, all kindergarten students will receive free breakfasts. Please complete the application and return to the C-T school office before school begins. You may bring it with you to the Open House on Tuesday, August 29th. You also may apply anytime during the school year if you have changes in your home.
Immunizations: If your child(ren) has had any immunization updates over the summer, please send a copy of the updated immunization record to the office. There are new immunization laws in place this year. If your child is medically or conscientiously exempt from receiving immunizations, please contact your physician or the school office to acquire the proper exemption form. We must have these on record in order for your child to start school.
School Year Calendar: Enclosed is a school year calendar. Please note: school WILL be in session the day following Parent-Teacher Conferences in November.
Information Updates: A form is enclosed in which we are asking for your primary phone number and a secondary phone number to enter in our records for SchoolReach to notify parents of an early release or school closings and to pass on any other important messages we need to get to parents in a mass callout. We are also requesting email addresses so we may email the Daily Announcements to parents on a daily basis. This is a great tool for parents to stay up-to-date with what is happening at C-T for the upcoming week. Teachers may also use email addresses to contact parents with classroom news and information. If there are any changes throughout the school year, contact the school immediately. We can only make these contacts with the information we have on record. Please complete both sides of the form and return to school as soon as possible.
Computer Labs: Due to health issues, we are requesting parents of elementary students to purchase earbuds or headphones for their children’s use in the computer lab. Please provide a container or ziplock bag with child’s name to store them when not in use.

We hope to see everyone at the Open House on Tuesday, August 29th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Elementary students may bring their supplies to put in their desks. The high school students will have to bring their supplies on the first day of school when lockers are assigned to them. You will find school supply lists at WalMart, Target, Fleet Farm and other various stores in the Breckenridge/Wahpeton, Fargo/Moorhead, and Alexandria areas. The school supply list and copies of the enclosed forms will be on the school website starting August 18th.
