Welcome Students, Parents, and Guardians to the 2020-2021 school year!
This will be my sixth year teaching math here at Campbell-Tintah as well as my fifth year supervising the before and after school program. I am excited to get back to in-person classrooms this school year, but I am ready to provide the best educational experience no matter what learning model we are in. This school year I am sure will be filled with new challenges with the continuing pandemic, but I have high hopes and expectations that we at Campbell-Tintah schools will be willing and able to succeed no matter what this school year ends up looking like.
This school year promises to be one full of exciting new ideas and academic progress. I will be working hard to ensure that each student has the opportunity to succeed no matter the education scenario that we are in. My goal is to challenge each student to meet and exceed the expectations/goals of this course to ensure a solid understanding of the concepts that we cover throughout the school year. Although at times this course will be rigorous, I will be there to help guide each student to success and encouraging them to continue to work hard towards the goals that we set.
Starting in-person this school year will look and feel a little different then what it has in the past years here at Campbell-Tintah Schools. There will be an emphasis on social distancing when possible and wearing face coverings due to the Minnesota “mask” mandate. If this pandemic starts to get out of control again in our area we will return to the distance learning model (scenario) until the pandemic is back under control or possibly the end of the school year. Please refer to the C-T back to school plan for a detailed outline of the expectations and the guideline that we will be following under each of the learning scenarios for the 2020-2021 school year.
If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me about what will be happening in our math classroom throughout the school year. The best way to contact me will be through e-mail, but feel free to use any form of communication that best suits you and the situation. There will be a digital copy of the classroom syllabuses outlaying classroom and school policies and expectation on my webpage, synergy class websites, and under MICROSOFT TEAMS class team.
I am looking forward to working with you this school year!
