    What is Scratch?

Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create interactive art, stories, simulations, and games – and share those creations online.

Use backpack to save your code  - good for collecting things.
This site contains information and resources for learning how to use Scratch, a free programming language developed by MIT that allows students to create interactive stories, videos, animations, music, art, etc.
Scratch is an excellent tool for supporting Digital Age Learning, the National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS), and the Common Core/21st Century Skills Technology Literacy.
